The Schoeller-Bleckmann Edelstahlrohr GmbH can refer to a long and successful company history.
Since 1870 already, steel was processed in the Schoeller factory in the region Ternitz. At the beginning of the 60's of the previous century, tube products were included into production - that was the starting signal for the development as competence center for seamless stainless steel tubes.
Seamless towards success
In 1995, a team of experienced managers acquired the formerly nationalized company within the scope of a management buyout and laid the foundations for a long-term secured future.
An optimally dimensioned, competitive company was created, which acts flexibly on the international market.
The integration of the company into the listed TUBACEX Group, which was executed in 1999, is another highlight in the success story of SBER.
In the seamless stainless steel tube sector, SBER belongs to the most important production companies of the world.
